These Terms of Service apply to all orders placed through the Coastmetics webshop at coastmetics.com.
Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order. By placing an order through our webshop, you agree to these Terms.

2. Scope
These Terms apply to all purchases made by consumers through the Coastmetics webshop.
If you are purchasing as a business customer, hotel, retailer, reseller or wholesale partner, separate B2B terms may apply.
In the event of a conflict between these Terms and mandatory consumer protection laws, the mandatory consumer protection laws will prevail.
3. Products
Coastmetics offers cosmetic products and related goods.
We make every effort to display our products, descriptions, ingredients, prices and images as accurately as possible. However, slight variations in colour, packaging appearance or presentation may occur due to screen settings, production updates or photography.
Product information on this website is provided for general information only. It is not medical advice and should not replace professional advice from a doctor, dermatologist or other qualified professional.
Please always read the product label, ingredient list and usage instructions before using a product.
4. Product suitability and skin reactions
Cosmetic products can affect individuals differently. If you have sensitive skin, allergies or known intolerances, please review the ingredient list carefully before use.
If you experience discomfort, irritation or an unexpected reaction, stop using the product and contact us at hello@coastmetics.com.
If your symptoms are strong, unusual or persistent, please seek medical advice.
Coastmetics cannot provide medical advice or diagnosis.
5. Orders
An order is placed when you complete the checkout process and receive an order confirmation from us.
After placing an order, you will receive an automatic order confirmation by email. This confirms that we have received your order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if:
- the product is unavailable
- payment could not be completed
- the order information is incomplete or incorrect
- there is an obvious pricing or product information error
- we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse or misuse of the webshop
If we cancel an order after payment has been made, we will refund the amount paid through the original payment method.
6. Prices
All prices are shown in euros, unless stated otherwise.
Prices include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise at checkout.
Shipping costs, if applicable, are shown before you place your order.
We may change prices at any time. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
7. Payment
Payment must be completed during checkout using one of the payment methods offered in the webshop.
Available payment methods may include, depending on country and availability:
- credit or debit card
- iDEAL
- PayPal
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- Klarna
- other payment methods displayed at checkout
The available payment methods may vary by country, currency and technical availability.
8. Shipping and delivery
Coastmetics ships from the Netherlands.
Available shipping countries, delivery options and shipping costs are shown at checkout before you place your order.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation by email.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, customs processing, public holidays or circumstances outside our control.
Please make sure your shipping address is complete and correct before placing your order.
If a parcel cannot be delivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, we may charge additional shipping costs for resending the order.
9. Risk and ownership
The risk of loss or damage passes to the customer once the order has been delivered to the delivery address provided by the customer.
Ownership of the products passes to the customer once full payment has been received.
This does not affect your statutory rights if a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.
10. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your online purchase within 14 days after receiving your order, without giving a reason.
If your order is delivered in several parcels, the withdrawal period starts after you have received the final item in your order.
To withdraw from your purchase, please use the electronic withdrawal / return function on our website or contact us at hello@coastmetics.com.
You may also use the model withdrawal form available on our website, but this is not mandatory.
Please do not send products back before we have received or confirmed your request.
11. Returns and hygiene
Coastmetics products are cosmetic products.
For health and hygiene reasons, opened or unsealed cosmetic products cannot usually be returned as standard returns once the seal has been broken after delivery.
To be eligible for a standard return, products must be:
- unused
- unopened
- sealed
- in their original packaging
- in a condition suitable for resale
This does not affect your statutory rights if a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

12. Return shipping costs
For standard withdrawals and returns, return shipping costs are paid by the customer, unless we have agreed otherwise.
If an item arrived damaged, faulty or incorrect, Coastmetics will cover reasonable return or replacement shipping costs where required.
We recommend using a tracked shipping method, as the parcel remains your responsibility until it reaches us.
13. Refunds
Refunds are generally issued to the original payment method.
Once we have received and checked your return, we will refund the eligible amount.
If you withdraw from your full order, we will refund the product price and the standard delivery cost paid for the original shipment.
Additional costs for premium or express shipping are not refunded.
Depending on your payment provider, it may take a few working days for the refund to appear in your account.
14. Damaged, faulty, incorrect or missing products
If your parcel arrives damaged, a product is faulty, you receive the wrong item or something is missing, please contact us at hello@coastmetics.com as soon as possible.
Please include:
- your order number
- a short description of the issue
- photos of the parcel, product and shipping label, where relevant
Please keep the product and packaging until we have reviewed the case.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
15. Legal guarantee
Consumers are entitled to a legal guarantee. This means that a product must be of reliable quality and must do what the customer may reasonably expect from it.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory rights under applicable consumer law.
16. Promotions, discount codes and gift cards
Promotions, discount codes and gift cards may be subject to additional terms, expiry dates or usage restrictions.
Discount codes cannot usually be applied retroactively to orders that have already been placed.
Only one discount code may be used per order, unless stated otherwise.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend or cancel promotions in the event of misuse, technical issues or obvious errors.
17. Customer accounts
Customers may be able to create or use a customer account to view orders, request returns or manage certain order-related actions.
You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure.

18. Website content and intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images, product names, brand elements, logos, graphics, photography, videos and design elements, is owned by or licensed to Coastmetics B.V., unless stated otherwise.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or use our content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
19. Reviews, feedback and user content
If you submit a review, testimonial, message, photo or other content to Coastmetics, you confirm that the content is accurate, lawful and does not infringe the rights of others.
By submitting content, you grant Coastmetics permission to use, reproduce and display that content for customer service, quality review, marketing or operational purposes, where appropriate and in accordance with applicable law.
We reserve the right not to publish or to remove content that is unlawful, offensive, misleading, irrelevant or inappropriate.
20. Limitation of liability
We are responsible for foreseeable loss and damage caused by us.
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for intent, gross negligence, personal injury caused by our negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.
To the extent permitted by law, Coastmetics is not liable for indirect losses, business losses, loss of profit, loss of data or damage resulting from improper use of products, failure to follow product instructions, or use of products contrary to their intended purpose.
21. Force majeure
Coastmetics is not responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations where this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
This may include, but is not limited to:
- courier delays
- strikes
- supply chain disruption
- natural events
- extreme weather
- technical failures
- government measures
- customs delays
- illness or other unexpected operational disruption
If such circumstances affect your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

23. Complaints
If you have a complaint about your order, a product or our service, please contact us at:

Please include your order number, a short description of the issue and any relevant information that helps us review your complaint.
We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and to provide a substantive response as soon as reasonably possible.
Coastmetics B.V. is currently not affiliated with a consumer disputes committee, unless stated otherwise.
24. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
If you are a consumer living in another country, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in your country of residence.
Nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory statutory rights.
25. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The version that applies to your order is the version available on our website at the time you place your order.
